How to run wo robots at the same time
My team is doing an off-season event where we are entering two robots. Does anyone have any advice on how to configure the radio/roborio so both robots can compete at the same time?

(When we did SCRIW this year, we had a team running 8101 as their number since they couldn't use the next-number-up approach most teams do; that next number was another team competing! Except FMS won't take a number above 7000 this year unlike last year, so we had them configure their roboRIO and radio as 4101 instead. Everything else flowed fine; with 22 teams, we knew what was going on and just connected the dots.) |

Re: How to run wo robots at the same time
I've seen offseasons this year with teams numbered 9XXX; did they use a different version of the FMS? It appeared that they used the normal version.

1) They're using 9XXX on the bumpers and plugging in another number elsewhere. 2) They're not using FIRST's standard FMS, the kind that is used during the season. (Cheezy Arena, perhaps? The lack of LED seven-segment displays on this picture is a tell for me.) 3) They knew something that our FTA (who was on event #19 of the season) didn't. (full disclosure: SCRIW's FTA was also my coworker at AndyMark) |

Re: How to run wo robots at the same time
Thanks! I'll contact the event organizers to see what numbers are acceptable.
