[OCCRA]: OCCRA Robot Updates for 2016

We are not getting many questions from teams but we do have two clarifications from the Game & Kit Committee and the refs regarding rule enforcement issues at the tournaments:
1) The mid-field line: the refs will not call shooting violations of the mid-field line as long as some part of the robot footprint is over on the goal side of the line; the intent of the rule was to prevent shooting long distances on the goal, (and endangering the drivers) NOT to keep robots from scoring on the end of the goal.
2) The .75" clearance is still in place for grippers, arms, etc.; the structure in question may employ wheels or other rounded, smooth objects to maintain the separation from the carpet. This rule is to prevent carpet damage, so the inspectors will look at mechanisms through that mindset.
