I thought it was ok, but left me wanting a lot more.

I just wanted to know more of the back story, more about why what happend did (trying not to spoil any of it). It just lacked a lot.

I also found that most of the scary parts were really just sudden loud bangs. The one truly scary part wasn't long enough.

I dunno, I just didn't like it much.

You just pointed out everything wrong with the movie. That having been said, I really enjoyed it.

Harrison has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I saw it a couple months ago, and it really freaked me out...

OMG at the end when the girl was coming out of the TV, and as she was walking, she like jumped 10 feet.....i very nearly let out a loud shrill scream (I did manage to contain myself).

Thats one awesome/scary/freaky movie.

Like Signs the Ring chooses to make you feel uneasy and spooked instead of outright terrified. A feeling of absolute dread. Atmosphere. Something is very wrong but you have no answer to what it is.
I find thse movies much more effective than horror movies that relay on the terriefied and often stupid reactions of the victims who do more to get themselves killed than the killers do(they are very similiar to the crickets I feed to my lizards. Clueless little dummies who practically walk right into death and are picked off before they even realize what has happened to them).

I liked it the first time...the second time I found it funny. It really loses everything the second time around.

I really want to see Ring, Ring 2 and Ring 0 (the Japanese flicks they were based off of)

They're s'possed to scar you for life. *shrug* I know people who've seen both and say Sadako is so much scarier than Samora.

I loved how Samora looked in the video where they like interviewed her. It was so innocent and scary.

My brother downloaded the Japanese version off of Kazaa, but it was of such horrible quality it wasn't scary at all...I guess blurs just dont inspire the same kind of fear.

He got The Ring(american) too, but the sound was way off. Ever hear someone talking from a closed closet? That would be this movie's quality. And yes, I know its just that particular version

The movie sucked. It wasn't scarry at all. To be truthful I thought Harry Potter 2 was scarier.
