Encoder Mounting To Drive Train

So as the 2017 season slowly arrives, i've been trying to figure out how to mount a Greyhill 63R encoder to a WCP SS Gearbox. i understand that other teams are mounting it on the untapped hole at the end of the output shaft on the cim side. here is where i have a question

how do you properly secure the encoder to the Gearbox? does your team 3D print or make some kind of plate for it? then how did you stop it from rotating?

Thank you for your time.

Re: Encoder Mounting To Drive Train

Have you read through this thread?

There're lots of solutions to this problem that I've heard on these fora. It mostly comes down to what works for your team and what resources you have.
