TIMS First in Michigan Consent?

Hi, I'm wondering if any mentors on a Michigan team had two consent forms when they registered in TIMS, one for National and one for Michigan. None of our team mentors remembers seeing this or can find anything now on our Dashboards or elsewhere.

We're being told we may need to delete everyone and redo registration to correct this, but that will be kind of a nightmare, so looking for any suggestions or guidance from other Michigan registered mentors.

I know that in FTC, the form was only allowed to be the paper copy turned in at EVERY OFFICIAL FIRST in Michigan (FiM) event.

Since we haven't heard anything different, I would think that it'll be the same way for FRC.

The FiM Consent and Release form is located here:

TIMS is a different story altogether. FIRST IT actually made the change in TIMS for mentors/coaches. There are two forms in there, one for FIRST, one for FIRST in Michigan. Every mentor needs to sign both. Your roster will not tell you if they did or did not sign both.

FIRST can tell though.

I went in and signed both forms tonight / this morning.

Re: TIMS First in Michigan Consent?

Everyone in FLL had to sign a FiM form this year.

Re: TIMS First in Michigan Consent?

Can't speak to FiM, but I know IndianaFIRST had intentions of making both releases (theirs and HQ's) digital through the Dashboard. However, that change was shelved in The Great Regional Registration Crash of Aught-Sixteen.

Yes, we got that same email. It's what caused the concern. We don't see the consent form. Where did they show up for you?

When I open my Dashboard it tells me I've already signed the consent. We even tried the suggestion to delete me from the team, but once I accepted the new invite it didn't reprompt me to complete any consent form, let alone two. It still shows consent form as complete.

I'm not normally this baffled by computer systems
