Gears in the Kit of Parts?
The FRC 2017 kit of parts says that it contains 2 gears. When I first opened it up I thought this was true until I began to watch some of the field explanation videos on youtube. In those it appears that the gear is much thicker than the ones I received and did not have a hollow side like the ones in the kit of parts.
Upon further inspection, I realized the two gears I had fit together back to back to form one gear. Did this happen to anyone else? Is a gear one half and the fact that they fit together is a coincidence? Or is it both halves fitted together? |

Re: Gears in the Kit of Parts?
The two gear halves get assembled into a single gear. There is a small bag in the KOP which contains the screws.

Re: Gears in the Kit of Parts?
The KOP list states "half" under the gear. So two halves.
