I don't mean to shoot down your quiz here, but I have some comments to make.

This is certainly nice to know, especially since you are a rookie team so I assume your students have little FRC experience, but it doesn't quite fit in if you're strictly looking to test on rules. If it applies to your team, it wouldn't hurt to leave it in if you choose.

You may want to specify that this entails climbing the rope and activating the touchpad.

In addition to holding it down by the end of the match, the touchpad must also be held for at least one second.

The team receives 0 points in qualification matches, and the alliance receives 0 points in playoff matches.

To be specific, your robot can expand at any time, as long as it does not expand outside of whatever configuration you passed inspection to be within.

And the battery

_____________ (Red Card)
This may not be the most GP thing to say, but simply saying it out loud would likely not earn a red card. If you were to do so in such a way deemed uncivil and egregious/repeated toward other teams or people, that is a different story.

----------------------------

That being said, I am not trying to tell you your quiz is bad and that you should not use it. I simply mean to clarify some of the rules and make sure the quiz can be effective.

Ok.... Simple one:

According to the Game & Season manual, how many teams are in an alliance?

[No, the answer's not what you think... See pages 39 & 123.]

Thanks for your feedback, the withholding allowance was an error, and we thank you for telling us before the team started studying our test! We always appreciate any good feedback as we are still trying to figure things out. Thanks to your great suggestions we will reword some questions to make a bit more sense! We hope to learn from everyone!!! Good Luck!

Chief Delphi is not an official source of information about the game. I would expect the answers to be the game manual and team updates. The Q&A can also be used to gain insight on the intent of the rules.
