Knot in field rope

Are you allowed to tie a knot in the field supplied rope or are you only allowed to tie a knot in the rope that you bring onto the field?

Not sure. I would assume no, as that would take time, to tie/untie, and it wouldn't be hard for teams to bring their own ropes w/ knots. RTM and if you can't find it, ask Q&A.

I'd also think no because it would then be different then the original rope and would technically have to be inspected
