FRC 2017 Joystick Control

Hello,

My team is a rookie this year, so we are still trying to figure things out, so sorry about this question if it is a simple answer.

My team would like to use the Logitech Joystick that is in our KOP. We are programming in LabView. Is there a way to connect this to our robot?

The default LabVIEW robot project comes pre-programmed to use a single joystick like that one.
You need to:

• Create a new project
• Build the project
• Run as Startup (to put it on the robot)

Plug the joystick in.
Go to the Setup tab in the Driver Station and make sure it shows up in the first slot (USB 0).

The Joystick connects to your PC or Laptop, not your robot.
