On the field - as far as I know, I'll have to go double check - there are enough ropes on your alliance's side for at least 2 robots to hang.

There are 3 DAVITs per alliance for teams to hang from, 1 spot for each team on an alliance. (Can't have anyone left behind, duh.) Every team will have the chance to change out a default FIELD ROPE for their own custom ROPE. If you can't agree on your alliance who changes which DAVIT's rope, the choice goes in Driver Station number order. Team in Station 1 picks first, then 2, then 3.
