Help with the 360 controller

We need help programming the 360 controller. We need to be able to press two buttons so that a motor will go forward and reverse. Seems pretty basic but we just can't seem to figure it out. Thank you.

Something that may help is to plug your joysticks into any computer that has the FRC drivers station, and making sure you know which buttons correspond to which numbers in code.
