Re: Team 2980 Week 4 Update
![]() This is our current design. The climber which goes on the left side of the robot is missing from the CADD file because I don't currently have access to the CADD Assembly for it. The rest is pretty much how it is at present. I'll try to get a picture of the practice robot tomorrow to upload. ![]() This is a CADD drawing of our current competition frame. I can't really see any major changes to it though we will probably add a cross member on the top to help stiffen the middle of the frame. ![]() This is our current fuel delivery system. I'll upload the CADD files to anyone who is interested. It is designed to shoot from the back of the robot when the front of the robot's bumper is pressed against the boiler. We are hoping tha this will greatly increase our accuracy. |

Do you have a mechanism to ground-load fuel?
Why are there no triangulation elements anywhere in the chassis? |

Re: Team 2980 Week 4 Update
We have a floor intake on the left side of the robot, back side of the robot in this picture. You can see where it goes in the following:
https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...hreadid=154876 I will post more pictures including of our current practice robot after school today. Our intake is relatively small, and we are hoping to not need to use it too often. Our main goal is to load from the hoppers only using the intake if there are no other options. Quote:
Our practice frame is currently completed with assembly and testing well under way. We are hoping to be done with assembly of our competition robot by the end of the week. Hopefully that will give us enough time for testing to see if any additional frame strengthening is necessary. best wishes, Edoga Last edited by eedoga : 07-02-2017 at 12:26. |
