How fast is your internet connection?
I am currious as to how many people have broadband.
http://speedtest.dslreports.com here is a speed test. Run it, then give the results along with where you are. 2002-12-25 22:15:23 EST: 1470 / 114 Your download speed : 1470798 bps, or 1470 kbps. A 179.5 KB/sec transfer rate. Your upload speed : 114138 bps, or 114 kbps. Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier! Herndon, Virginia Wetzel ~~~~~~~~ Hmmm

Always be weary of these tests. Mine, for example, gave a speed of approx. .5 Mbit, but my line is 2Mbit and download files at 250 k/s on a regular basis. If you want an accurate test of your actual line speed, ask your ISP. Mine (Road Runner) has a test file you can download straight from their servers, thus bypassing the latency caused by the rest of the internet.

226 Transfer complete. 1430761 bytes received in 21.58 secs (64.7 kB/s) That's my speedtest *pets ftp* That's off my ISP's ftp. I'd test my upload speed, but I don't feel like it. I don't have java...nor do I live anywhere near California...this is a tad bit more accurate.
