I hate this rule
Rule K3 says we have to account for every rivet we use as part of the cost. What is FIRST really trying to accomplish by having us account for every fastener???
It's not that they cost much - it just makes it impossible to say "We are sure we accounted for every part on the robot". To do so is either an accounting nightmare or a lie. |

B/c if your robot is .00001 LBs off for weight, you can just get a Titanium Screw, and there you go, and that wouldn't be fair!!
Prob to view aginst other teams? |

It's all part of my schools standard accounting procedure anyways, we just add a couple extra fields to our forms. Our accounting for school administrators has to be acurate to the penny. (They wouldn't take money from me once because I was a quarter over... they wanted me to go back, recount it, check it against the receipts, etc. etc. etc. )

hmm
well, first is just saying that you need to make sure that everything is accounted for. theyre not going to actually check every little thing. they never have.
