Locking the drill motor clutch?

In previous years our tem always used a methods to lock the final ring in place to disable the clutch. I've seen several variations on the same theme - from Dr. Joes Drill Advice - to actually pinning them.

Any ideas for this year?

I don't see an obvious way to do it like previous years. Do you think the locking mechanism on the drill is sufficient?

Do you mean the shifter? for the second stage?

If you rotate the first stage plastic piece 180 degrees, it automatically locks the shifter into high torque mode.

If you mean how to lock the clutch into "drill mode", we drilled and tapped a hole in the clutch housing and sent a bolt through the fixed housing into the clutch housing. That worked fine.
