Talking What we've been up to.

Well, while you might get to see too much you already know, and don't get to see enough of what you want... without furthue adeu... (and yes, I can't spell adeu, and Jake Warren can't spell coming)

http://www.moe365.org/video/MOESneakPeak.avi

Enjoy.

Note: Yell at Jake for the huge file size (he should get DivX!). And we built a full-scale mockup of the bridge. Sweet, eh?

Place your attention entirely on my voice and try to ignore all the others. It is important to be able to focus on a single source of information while blocking out all the other things competing for your attention.

Good try- you guys and 122 can't fool us- we know part of it is your robot from last year..

still a pretty cool idea- but i bet that isn't even close to your actual design idea- just a little bait to throw us off, eh?

can't wait to see what your robot looks like- just please don't make it lime green this year.. please..

Spelling is for those English majors.. I got the important stuff down. Like numbers. Just last week I was able to count to 100... by myself! Without using my fingers!!! Or was it 10... Ah, numbers aren't that important.

I'm gonna try to make more videos as the season progresses... and I have to teach myself Adobe Premier. Good luck, all!

<edit>And here are some hints to show you what you are seeing:
1) The robot will NOT be LIME GREEN. The robot WILL be MOE GREEN.
2) The robot may or may not have a drive train.

That's all, folks!</edit>

ok now, first of all, we all know two things that are always going to be the case with MOE...#1, they will be green, and #2, they will have some form of wings. so of COURSE it can look like last years. (i still havent seen this link either...*taps foot*)

And no, we are not having the same robot this year. *Sigh* altho, it did work pretty well. we lifted the robot 2 more inches off the ground so we could get over the ramp and we managed to get from the starting posistion to knocking down all the boxes in 4 seconds...bwhahaha....too bad it doesnt fit through any doors anymore. quite a pain.
