Shipping Info
I was wondering if anybody knew a good, cheap way to ship the robot? Also, for those teams that are going to the Arizona Regional, does anyone know what drayage company they want us to go with? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

shipping costs
Hi.
Find as many teams as you can in your general area of the country, and ask them if they would be willing to split the cost of shipping. You would all have your robots at the same place on the 18th of February, and you can probably get a better deal that way. Another way is to see if someone is willing to drive the robots themselves. Team Ford does this....all of our robots go together in a big truck, and a couple of our engineers drive them to the drayage site. Remember that Fed Ex is picking up the tab for 3 trips, though. |
