Pneumatics Manual Confusion

I've read through the pneumatics manual and all the posts on Delphi, and i'm confused about one thing. The order form for the custom cylinders lists only three bore sizes, 2", 1.5", and .75". Are these the only sizes we are allowed to use? Or are these the only sizes that are free? I know there were teams last year with smaller cylinders, for shifting transmissions and goal grabbers. Any thoughts?

Other than the pneumatic actuator which came in the kit, those actuators listed on the order form are the only ones we're allowed to use.

You can't use a 36" stroke, 4" bore actuator, for example, no matter if you can afford it, or even if you have one laying around.

I was aware that you can't use anything bigger. The confusion came with can we use something smaller. If we can't i'm expecting to see some big tranny's being shifted by a .75 bore cylinder.

I don't recall seeing anything smaller than a 3/4" Bore cylinder shifting transmissions.

That's what we're using this season and it's not too big at all.

But, to answer your question . . . no, you may not use any other pistons except those provided in the kit and three others that are available from the provided order form.

Sorry.

Seriously we have a bunch of really small ones laying around that would be great for shifting. (even though we will not have a multispeed transmission. lol)
