Adaptive Parts

I'm trying to make a part for our robot adaptive but it gives me an error message when i try to do so. the in program help was of, well, no help. any suggestions would be welcome

well you really haven't given enough info for anyone to help. Could you post your code or at lest the part that you think is giving the error?

If you can give more specific information about the part and the error, we may be able to help you more. Adaptive parts can be feisty, but useful.

But, there are so many ways of making parts adaptive that it's impossible to even hazard a guess as to what could be wrong.

ok here goes. i'm tryign to make a cross member to brace to upright peices of 1x1 etruded aluminum used to hit into the totes. i could figure it out w/ a bit of trig. but i want to be able to easily change the pionts it connects to b/c our team is still working on specifics. i would post a picture of the assembly i'm working w/ but i'm not currently on a computer w/ inventer. i'l l try to get a picture up but it may take me awhile.

ok i managd to do what i wanted. i have no idea why it didn't work before but i remade the piece and using some tutorials i found at http://www.sdotson.com/index.asp i was able to make it work as i wanted it too.
i would strongly suggest looking though the site if you have any inventer questions. i thought that it was well laid out and the tutorials are easy to follow
