First Forum Purged?

Is it just me, or dose there seem to be a lot of missing posts?
I was looking to find somethings that are just not there anymore.
Also, some replies refer to "Previous Postings" that are missing too!
The information this forum gives is Invariable, but with all the contradictions, it needs to be complete and unaltered.
OR is it just ME??
Geo.

I have seen them change answers that were contradictory. In many ways, this is a good thing. However, they should keep the original answer there, and then the correct answer should be added.

I have not seen them delete a previously answered message. Can you give an example?

The one I first noticed was the "Pneumatic Cylinder Pin removal",
We removed the pins before the posts (as sometimes is std. common practice and has been O.K. in past years) one of the FIRST posts states "We did not realize the pins came out that easy, and were worried about damaged seals"
After 50 pages of the forums, 7 pages "pneumatics" search
and all 16 updates reviewed, I made this post

But after looking there are others
