we have sound attached to our avi scenes from 3ds, which we can hear with media player. however, after assembling in post, we now have no sound! please help silent animation is so lame....

Maybe this will work for you: record your sound from max into a separate wav file and then use a freeware program called VirtualDub to add the sound to your avi.
