Plastic Mounting
Can we mount battries, controlers and other accesories using plastic mounds on the robot ?

It depends on wether you can get those plastic mounds from a legal source or not.
I know they aren't in the kit, and I don't think there is anything similar in the additional hardware list. If you can find what you want in the SPI catalog, then you can use those, but otherwise, it would not be legal to use plastic mounds. There is no other rules prohibiting the plastic mounds, so as long as you can get them from a legal source, you are able to use them. |

If by "plastic mounds", you really meant "plastic mounts", you might take note that the Additional Parts List does include a provision for "fasteners" in "any amount/size".
In any case, I can't really imagine what a "plastic mound" (for mounting) would look like! ![]() |

maybe they mean to melt a block of plastic over something to bury it in the plasic.... that would look like a mound
![]() Anyways, be careful when using plastic to mount things. it tends to break easily. |
