Question FIRST Logo on Classrings/Letterjackets

I am the teacher for team 476--The Adidarons, Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Have any of you ever seen the FIRST logo available for class rings? I have addressed this with several ring salespeople, but to no avail, they never get back with me. The only answer I have received is that it would require a $500 mold to be purchased before this option would be available. If enought students would demand this logo from the Josten and Balfour (and the other classring companies) then they would probably provide this option.

The other thing is: Do any of your schools allow students to "letter" in robotics? This is currently an issue we are dealing with.

If any of your schools allow students to Letter---then what are your guidelines?

Good luck to all of you---I witnessed a lot of wonderful acts of Gracious Professionalism in St. Louis.

Thanks,
Tonya Scott
