If you could build the ‘perfect’ battle bot…

What ideas do you have? (obviously, I’m referring to “impossible ideals” here, nothing that could actually be “stolen” or “ripped off” by anyone) If money weren’t an issue and if engineering limitations weren’t either, for that matter, describe how you would design and create the ultimate war machine to enter into competition!

My battlebot would lower other battlebots self-esteem until they had no will to fight.

How about something that attacks the drivers?

Spear gun?

[edit]
By attack, I mean 'non-fatal attack.'
And by spear, I mean rubber-tipped spear...that would knock the person unconscious.

Or even stealth, not just invisible to radar, but to the naked eye as well.

how about a bot that takes all those pesky AOL discs, douses them in gasoline, lights them, and launches them at supersonic speeds into the other bots. of course, you'd have to be careful to only aim at other bots, but it's sure as hell be fun, as well as a god use for all those CDs

That's a great idea! I'd love to see those things flaming. However, I use them as coasters too. I almost have a perfect set of 400. Ugh! Don't those people ever give up?

Hey do any of you play bot games online?

Hey, just checking back. The reason I asked about online battling is cuz I just finished my first bot with Robot Arena 2 and want to see how it holds up. Anyone else using this game to design and build? (http://mygamer.com/article.php?view=3423) If you don't know it, My Gamer gave it a helluva a review. Now I just need some competition.
