Go to Post FIRST isn't about building robots. I know. But I also know that Inspiration comes in a lot of flavors and I, for one, believe it is a lot easier to inspire my kids when we set "playing after lunch on Saturday" as a worthy team goal. - Joe Johnson [more]

Robb Gerber is an unknown quantity at this point
What's with the New Motor Specs for the Atwood Mobile (Chiaphua) Motor.

The Stall current is now 112.4A
The max rpm is now 5600
The max efficiency is now down to 61%
and on and on and on

what gives? Now I've got to recalculate everything

Anyone else scratching their heads?

I don't use that many decimal places in my calculations to be affected by the change.

Do you? If so, why?

In the majority of the cases, all of those spec sheets they give us come directly from the supplier. So if there's a discrepancy, it's Atwood's fault, not FIRST's...
