Hello, my name is Erin, and nationals is my favorite holiday of the year

my evenings are spent organizing post season competitions, organizing travel to other competitions, helping FIRST friends with girl problems online, Robotics chat rooms, and I'm always on the phone with a fellow FIRSTer of some sort

I was unaffiliated with a FIRST team for four months last summer when I was transitioning from High School to College, it was the worst time of my life... I had serious withdrawl, IT WAS HORRIBLE I TELL YOU, HOR-RI-BLE!

I was/am desinging a new robot the week after our last regional?

I sit here and read Chiefdelphi now that i don't have a robot to build or work on. Good thing to be addicted to though

well, yeah I'm a total first nut, I haven't been away from robotics for more than about two weeks in the past 7 years....I try to fix everything using duct tape, a hammer, and WD-40. I've come to planning my schedule around first. I put nearly 4000 miles on my explorer last year travelling to robotics events. Um, I've been known to run around carrying a wooden pineapple asking people to bless it and feel the power of the pineapple. (don't ask) I've been known to blurt out 222 or go tigertrons in my sleep (yes it did happen once) Um yeah, I could go on for days....But the best part about first right now is going back and helping all the students learn and feel like they are a part of the team!!!! Also one thing I've learned is SAFETY GLASSES SAVE LIVES!!!!!
