Best Summer Cruise

I know this is mentioned in a bunch of threads, but I wanted to start a poll.

I used to always here that Alaskan cruises were always boreing or at least, not fun. Now, I keep hearing that they are really fun. I have been on five cruises, all to the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Bahamas. I would just like to know which type of cruise is better.

Alaska is REALLY awesome. I cant make a comparison to anywhere else though. I hear it all depends on what cruise line you go with. I heard Carnival isnt that great. Ive heard Royal Carribbean and Holland America are good, and I can vouch for Princess There are a lot of older people on Princess, and I think the same is true of Holland America, however, there were quite a few teenagers, and I met some really cool people. I would definitely say that you should go to alaska if you get the chance, it is absolutely amazing, all the glaciers, the mountains, the forests, everything is just really cool. The one downside is the weather isnt always that great. When I went it was in the 80's every day except one, which it was pouring, which is really unusual.

I have been on both Royal Caribbean and Holland American. I thought Holland American was mostly for old people. My parents have been on I think over 20 cruises with different cruise lines. They say that Royal Caribbean was always the best. They didn't like Carnival because it was to busy with parties and stuff. I might like Carnival but I really enjoyed Royal Caribbean. Maybe going to Alaska, my opinion would change. My parents loved the Alaskan cruise more cause it was quiet. AKA: boring.

Cool Another Kind of Cruise

There is another cruise this summer that happens to be a favorite of mine: The Woodward Dream Cruise. For those not from the Detroit area, the main drag of the region is bumper to bumper in classic cars, and an expected 1.5 million spectators. It is the largest single day automotive event in the world. Bummer of it is that I leave for Purdue that morning, so I miss all the action.

Alaska really isnt boring. Sure, there arent parties nonstop, but if you go looking for one, its there. As a teenager, there is definitely stuff for you to do all the time. I was never bored once. I was out until after 3 am every day with a group of people, and there was *always* something to do. From what Ive heard, after one stop in the Carribbean, youve seen it all, its just beaches and jungle. In Alaska, you see something new and really cool at every stop. I guess Im kinda biased, but I loved it.

I would say the opposite. I don't know if it is cause I am from Florida, but I love being in tropical climates. I wouldn't live anywhere north of where I live now.
