2004 registration dates
Chances are not everyone has seen this yet. It was from an email bulletin sent by first:
...Furthermore, if you go to http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/frc_time.htm you will see the 2004 Calendar of Deadline Dates. Some of the dates are still to be determined - please keep checking to see the additions. Finally, this year we will again have teams pre-register on the Team Information Management System (TIMS) at my.usfirst.org starting September 15th. Pre-registering allows you to edit or input all team information prior to the opening of First Event Registration on September 29th. **Please note that you will not be able to register for an event until you have completed the pre-registration process**. Even if your team information is now up to date, you will want to go into the system on or after the 15th for additional edits as it is currently being enhanced. ... KA-108 ![]() |

UTC New England
It appears that only the UTC New England regional will be held on two consecutive weekends. - March 11 thru 20 - This should provide some interesting match-ups the 2nd weekend as everyone rebuilds their robots!

This Years Fees
Quote:
We had discussion in the end of season team forums about - items not needed year after year, ie. battery charger, compressor, joy sticks. So they (FIRST) may have come up with two kits, one for rookie teams, and one for veteran teams. The cost would remain the same for all. |

Yes First Regional event is 5,000, additional events 4,000, and Nationals is 4,000.
Us veterans will not be receiving acompessor, joysticks and battery chargers not even the EDUbot. However all rumors are true we will get the brand new control system early. Rookies will recieve the regular kit and edubot |
