threaded rod
hi! are we allowed to use acme threaded rod on our robot? threaded rod is on the materials list, but we're not sure if our brand is okay. thanks for your time!

If the material is on the list, the brand shouldn't matter. Did you buy it at a local store, or through a commonly available catalog? If yes, then you should be okay.

Allowable
Since acme threaded rod is available from McMaster's and other catalog companies that we all have equal access to, and since threaded rod is on the allowed materials list, I don't see any reason not to use it. Martus will give the official reply soon.

As Mac has said, since it is threaded rod on the official list and available to all at many sources it is approved.
