Robot Rivals on the DIY network
Has anyone seen this show? 2 college teams of 3 people each have one day to build a robot that can perform a very specific task. It is a lot like FIRST, you all should watch if you get DIY. They even use extrusuion, and IFI parts like Vicotrs and the old EDU controller.

Haha, I could say sooo much about this show. But alas, I will hold back. You can watch WPI and 3 team 190 members "compete" (READ: act; we were not robot builders, but simply.. actors, just the way TV has to be) sometime in February for Season 2.
It was a lot of fun participating, but take note that is really is NOTHING like FIRST when you experience first-hand (regardless, it makes a good show for TV). ![]() |
