Parades

So with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, and lots of Holiday parades along with it, how many of you have robots that are driving the route before Santa? I know every year, our robot drives down the road a couple before the reideer pull the big guy....... Anybody have any fun stories about it?

Nope, no thanksgiving parade for us. We have done a 4th of July parade in the past, but that was at least 3 or 4 years ago.

on the topic of parades:
Does anyone else have a haloween parade? I had never heard of one until a kid from allentown, Pa said they had them. Does anyone else?

I don't believe we actually ever drove in a Christmas Parade, however, I think in the past they have done dome type of fundraising event at that time. (I know for sure the lego kids used to do a fundraiser during the parade.) However, around here all the small towns have parades throughout the year, and we participate in those.

On a side note - around here, we have a HUGE Halloween parade in Towanda that the whole county participates in.

Yeah down here in stuart we used to farm pineapple for the longest time, how the town got started. But then the train came through and cheeper pineapples from Cuba forced the farmers out of busniess. So we kinda remember our heritage during the pineapple festival.
