Question Splines, terrain, and conformity

Well, time has come to plot the roads in my scene. Editing loft splines for hours on end to get them to line up with a displaced plane for terrain is also a large pain in the rear. Anybody know of a way to get it to conform to the shape of the terrain? I can't think of any offhand and I could use it.

Just map the road with the same displacement map, and offset it yourself.
