Web-Based File Transfer?
I'm searching around for, but cannot find, a web-based file transfer script/php/whatever that performs very similar to the "White Papers" section of CD.
What's needed: Secure Reliable Upload Automatic link to new files* Easy setup *Much like Apache's default folder view. What would be cool but not needed: Automatic iconography** ** .doc's to have MS Word logo, pictures to have thumbnails What is not needed/wanted User login Filters for explicit material*** Hassle ***Only certain people will have access to this. And it will be monitored. I know this type of thing exists.. I've used it before but never needed to remember what it was called. |

Re: Web-Based File Transfer?
I've got one going on my page in PHP. I originally wrote it but the new webmaster might have altered it. I can get it for you if you'd like it. send me an email: rosemurgy@chartermi.net check it out at http://www.team857.com/upload.php
We've also got a pretty nice photo gallery that is based in PHP. But it doesn't automatically link, I forgot about that requirement. Last edited by mightywombat : 11-01-2004 at 01:07. Reason: forgot something |

Re: Web-Based File Transfer?
Never fear, Petey is here!
If you're asking what I think you're asking, you want a web-based file management system that you can upload and download to/from anywhere on the Internet. http://invisionfilemanager.com is a good one. I use it for a webpage that I set up for my junior class. If that's what you want, and you want any help configuring it, let me know. --Petey |
