Professional Video Camera Rentals

I just survived a kickoff and 20hr+ design sessions during the weekend, so I'll try to make this as coherent as I can:

I am thinking of looking for sponsorship in the form of prosumer/professional camera rental for filming your team and robot at regionals and the finals (perhaps during the build season as well). The cameras that I had in mind were something along the lines of a Canon XL1S or Sony DCR-VX2100.

The edited footage [from the build season and regional] would be shown as the finals as part of a FIRST Film Festival with judges and people's choice awards and distributed in DVD format with next year's kits, like animation.

Teams can compile all of thier footage into sponsorship videos (on DVD, ofcourse), promotional video for team awareness (recruting new members and community events) and a DVD with the entire robotics season, which they can sell to raise money for next year. This will allow the viewer to see what robotics is really like, as oppose to just giving a summary and showing some photos.

This is what I was thinking of putting together this year (for my team, though other teams can use this as a template):

A DVD with:
-A explaination of the game, presented this past Saturday in Manchester.
-Footage of: our design process
-build season
-regional[s]
-final
-bonus material (such as the surprise that our team will present to all teams at the Canadian Regional , with multiple camera angles ofcourse )

Addtionally:
1/2/5 minute sponsorship and promotional segments.

Extension: Try to get Adobe or Apple to supply video editing software next year with the kits, much like Autodesk has for animations.

So my question is essentially the following, Is anyone interested in grouping and finding sponsors, and (possibly a seperate question) Is anyone interested in setting up/organizing a FIRST Film Festival at the finals?
