Get Your *Free* Microsoft 'Security' Posters!

Yes, if there ever was such a thing as true irony, Microsoft and security is it. Now, you can get free security posters from Microsoft to hang around your room (all 75 of them!) to ward off those evil hackers, trojans, and viruses! Kinda like how people sell those 'Protected by Brinks' stickers even though the house isn't protected by it....

http://www.microsoft.com/education/?ID=SecurityPosters

As if that wasn't ironic enough, they were made on a Mac.

Re: Get Your *Free* Microsoft 'Security' Posters!

Those posters are pretty cool. I'm thinking they will be a nice edition to my dorm room once the ordering site is put back up. It says the ordering site is down for maintanence purposes so hopefully it will be back up soon.

I noticed it says 75 posters total. Does that mean they will be releasing 75 different posters or you are limited to getting 75 posters?

If you actually read it, the website says you get 75 posters per order, but there are only 3 designs. Meaning you only get 25 of each poster.

I ordered a batch. The art isn't bad at all, scissors can trim off the Micro$oft logos and hyperbole at the bottom

Re: Get Your *Free* Microsoft 'Security' Posters!

Actually, it's pretty common to have MS give away free stuff. I ordered my posters a few weeks ago

Probably because they were the only working systems they could find after MyDoom got done making its rounds.
