Thumbs up Webcams: A Website Wonder

So...after weeks of work our webcam´s working (what´s up with the "W´s"?) Well, I think it really makes a great addition to your website and it lets you see it all in real-time (usually)...now my parents can know if Im actually at school or not
So does your team have one? Is it working?

Check out our webcam at tribotecteam.com!!!

Yup, ours works. It refreshes every seven seconds. Yeah we have fun with it, LOL. Its creepy when you watch it at night though. You can see the reflection of the crate and the welding booth. Very eerie. LOL.

Re: Webcams: A Website Wonder

Our team finally got a webcam this year. Unfortunately it's only working locally (to the computer it's hooked to) due to firewall issues at the school. We're contacting the IT department to see if we can get a temporary variance for the remainder of the six weeks. Another thing that's delaying it is the number of days we have missed due to weather. As a matter of fact we packed all our stuff into our cars to go to a remote location anticipating another closhure tommorow. We also have no access for a webcam at this location. Oh well, just being located in the northeast makes it that much more of a challenge to build a robot.
