Yet another custom machined wheel. It seems like these are becomming more commonplace. I wish we had some.

Remember.. the only reason we had to make these is because the swivel drive design relies on them. The gear reduction for the drill and CIM motors is fit WITHIN the hollowed out wheel. This makes for a very compact and lightweight design.
Pics of the final completed module are coming soon, I'm guessing Tuesday night. (tonight) |
