SCRRF Practice Competition

Attention all teams (especially those that might be struggling to finish your robot by this weekend):

We will be having an open robotics shop at Chatsworth on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21 and 22, staffed with engineers, machinists, welders, and electrical engineers/programmers to make sure that all teams are up and running by Sunday so you can test your robot on the competition field. If you know what parts need to be machined and what size aluminum you need, we will try to make sure we have it for the weekend. Please contact Wendy Wooten (wwooten@lausd.k12.ca.us) so we know how we can help you get your robot ready for the pre-ship scrimmage.

Registration Fee: $50

Come join all of the SCRRF teams for a friendly scrimmage on a complete playing field in a competition setting similar to Regionals this Sunday. Get practice driving, playing with an ally against an opponent alliance. If you need help with your robot, there will be numerous engineering mentors and complete fabrication facilities available on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be a snack bar serving food all day long.
Teams should bring their robot, tools, robot cart, an extension cord, loads of team spirit, and of course their gracious professionalism.

Schedule:
Registration 8 – 10 AM
Competition 10 AM – 4:30 PM
Awards 4:30 – 5:00 PM
