Murphy's Law In Action

Who else is experiencing the infamous "Murphy's Law" tonight?

I got here, worked for a while, and left with a team mate on a coffee run.
The truck(belonging to our autoshop teacher) ran out of gas just outside of school. It's gas gauge was still reading full. We called for backup. We couldn't find the emergency blinkers, so I got to stand in a rainstorm and direct traffic for a while. The keys to the other car were in our hands on the same keyring as the ignition for the truck. I got to run them back to the shop, where our teacher drove to the truck and identified the gas problem. He's driving out to get gas now, while I sit here (with a flu) and no socks or shoes because they got TOTALLY SOAKED when I was coming in. (stinking rain...)

To top it all off, I still don't have my coffee.

Any one else feeling some murphy in thier lives?

Truth!

We went for one of our first test runs fully assembled, and I broke that darn thing! I broke 2 lights and a chain while preacticing right before it went in the box.....Murphy is an evil man.

Re: Murphy's Law In Action

We've got a little murphy in our lives... if our programmer touches the bot, it breaks. For the past two years, everytime he's driven it, the transmission has blown up. Kinda remarkable, because we've used different designs each year..... But, if we can get it to survive him, we're sure it'll survive a comp!
