Exclamation Off Season Competitions - a list of what, when and where 2

This is sort of like last year's thread on the top of the forums. I have been trying to find out minicomp information for this year and I started to get some old information, so in order to make it convenient for everyone, I thought this big thread can hold all of this year's F.I.R.S.T. Frenzy's mini comps!

Re: Off Season Competitions - a list of what, when and where 2

The Tristate area and surrounding areas are home to a number of fantastic and competetive offseason events, chief among these being:

Brunswick Eruption v3.0
Pennsylvania Robotics Challenge (PARC)
Duel on the Delaware
Ramp Riot

I'm not certain about the tentative dates, but team members of the hosting teams might be able to fill you in with more information.

Re: Off Season Competitions - a list of what, when and where 2

The second annual Fall Fury will be held in October. We are waiting on the SAT schedule before we pick a date (last year it was the same day).
The fee will be $100.00, ans we will be starting at 10:00 am in order to give everyone time to travel to Keene NH.
I'll post more info. when we get it.

From the info I've seen, Ramp Riot V will be held at Wissahickon on either November 7 or 13- should be a blast, the house is always packed and ready to go. For more concrete information you could come to our pits at Nationals or contact our team leader- OZ341

I believe that last year at River Rage they announced it would be on September 11th, 2004. This is also a Saturday, so it probably is.

The WRRF's California Robot Games. It'll probably be in September or October. I think it's still up in the air. Ken Leung will be the official source of information for these boards, when there is information to be had.

Since you asked, here it is:

WRRF is proud to announce California Robot Games 2004 is being put together as of this moment. After careful consideration of the dates in late September/early October, we've decided October 2nd is the best date for us to have Cal Games 04. We will be capping this event at 28 teams until further notice.

Registration to this event will be first come first serve, and I will let everyone know as soon as registration is open. We would love to see the Southern California teams come back again this year (and bring another team or two with you), and hope the Sacramento teams will join us as well. As always, I would love to see as many Bay Area teams participate as possible.

Any interest for Cal Games 04 please reply to this thread:

http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=249476

The event flyer is in there as well.
