VCU Region Off-Season Competition
Team 1086, The Pirates of the Black Pearl, was asked if they would like to host an Off-Season Competition for the VCU Region Area. We are interested to know how many teams out there would like to attend this competition. It would most likely be sometime in mid-July, around the 17th. More information on this will come in the near future.

Sorry to say that I know one other team has contacted FIRST and will be setting one up at the Virginia Science center. Don't know who though, can't remeber. As for Sparky, we have never attended a post-season event, so I doubt we will now.

I'm not sure where you have heard that from Joe, but Mrs. Nolen has been speaking with both Dee Tomczak and Pattie Cook, and they have not mentioned anything of that sort to her. Maybe it is true, maybe it isn't, but I am trust what Mrs. Nolen has heard from both Dee and Pattie.
