What Was the Source of This Year's Game?

Last year FIRST asked teams to submit game ideas for the 2004 season. Supposedly these ideas were "worked on" by six separate teams of FIRST game experts and one of the ideas was selected.

What I want to know is- who submitted this year's game?

Frankly it seems like somebody chopped up the last 5 years' games and tossed them together.

Just curious...

Re: What Was the Source of This Year's Game?

Here is something that Andy Baker posted awhile back...

Quote:
Thanks, but your praise needs to go to the official "Game Design Committee" that the FIRST Board of Directors assembled this past summer. Some of this year's game came from our little team's presentation, but only parts. I'll try to describe the process:

5 different committees were asked to create complete game designs. Each of these committees were invited to Westwind to present to the official "Game Design Committee" (GDC). These presentations took place in July. Once we all presented our ideas, the GDC met many times and created the game we see today. They took input from all 5 presenting committees, added their own thoughts and created an excellent game. Our "Midwest Game Design Committee" was just a part of the process.
