Second IRI Scholarship Opportunity

The IRI Committee is announcing a 2nd IRI scholarship.

The $1000 Delphi scholarship (in the current package) is for anyone except the three host teams (45, 234 and 393). Make sure if you are applying that you get your materials in before the deadline.

Rolls-Royce is sponsoring a second $1000 scholarship. It is only available to a member of one of the three host teams (45, 234 or 393). This scholarship includes the opportunity for an engineering internship in the summer of 2005 (paid position).

Details and the application form for this 2nd scholarship will be posted Thursday (17th), but are similar to the Delphi scholarship.

Thanks to Delphi and Rolls-Royce for providing this opportunity for FIRST High School graduates.

I stress that you apply for this. Even if Rolls-Royce is not you dream company (i can't see why not!!!) it is a excellent leaping pad.

anyways, it's good to know all the students on the host teams get to have an opportunity as well.

These two scholarships are excellent opportunities to earn some cash for college and to gain some valuable work experience.

I'll now go off and ponder just how much I'm paying to go to Purdue, wishing I had taken advantage of some opportunities like this.....
