SAE Supermileage

I just stumbled upon this site while looking at slashdot, I thought it was really cool.

SAE Supermileage is when high school and college teams build veichles that are designed for high mileage. I dont really know a lot about the competition, but I know that every team is provided with a motor and rules.

The rules are located here: http://www.sae.org/students/superrules.pdf
The actual site is located here: http://www.sae.org/students/smeventinfo.htm

The competition ran between 06/11/2004 - 06/12/2004 in Marshall, Michigan

Which teams would be interested in participating next year?

Re: SAE Supermileage

Cornell University participated in and won the FSAE (Formula SAE) competition this year. I forget how many years they've participated. They would probably have an interest in the supermileage competition too... though personally, I like the formula one cars better
