[OCCRA]: Laptops?

Just writing to ask the ruling on a question that was brought up earlier at today's meeting - Are laptops allowed at the competition, and if so, where/when?

Laptops are needed if you are doing programming. I must remind you that programming is NOT required, the default program will be adequate for most teams. Also, the staff at events will NOT support or trouble shoot problems that arise due to teams changing the default code. You are on your own and remember ONLY the students can do the programming, and they must do 100% as per the rules.

Laptops may NOT be taken or used at the player stations, on the field or mounted on the robot. Laptops may only be used in the pits.

Security for the laptop is 100% your teams responsibility. The event or OCCRA staff will take no responsibility for loss or damage at the events.
