Sweet Repeat 04

Does anyone have any pictures of this years SR? I was unable to make it there due to other restrictions, but heard about it.

Re: Sweet Repeat 04

I’d like to thank all of the folks who made the ’04 Sweet Repeat another great off-season competition. The venue was well prepared and the field staff were just great. Andy Baker did a fine job as MC and Jim Zondag kept a watchful eye on the field as head ref. I’m not sure what Paul C. was doing, but I’m sure it was good too.

I would strongly encourage other area teams to take advantage of having Sweet Repeat and the Kettering Kick-Off right here in our own back yard. It’s a great way to train new or prospective drivers and introduce new students and mentors to FIRST. It also has the advantage of being very affordable for teams on a tight budget who might only make it to 1 regional all year.

I'd have to say my favorite moment was when the 494 bot met the 33 bot during a full speed autonomous collision. Our autonomous program ended before the battle did. The K-Bees pushed our Martian machine back wards as they tripped both of the ball drops.

That was a great moment. Ironically, it was the only match our camera man was not able to record. So, if anyone has video of that match (it was the first match of the finals, I believe) we would love to see it.

Yep. Very first match when Bees and TNT was out there and they won.
