There is a little section in the August 2001 issue of the Wired Magazine about the IBot & Mr. Kamen . It's on page 103 where it says, "Perhaps the best example". It's alright, if anyone wants to check it out.

IBOT
You know whats really cool, I was talking to my physical therapist the other day about FIRST and he asked if that was Dean Kamen's program, so I told him yeh of course. He then went on to tell me about how he had been on Kamen's staff in designing the IBot, I thought it was really cool that my Physical therapist worked on the IBOT!
