Camera Mount?
I was looking at the mount that IFI tells us to make for the robot. The one that places the board into the project box. My question is that how would you protect the front of the whole camera board and camera? That, I think, is the most delicate part and it will need to be somewhere on the outside of the bot because it needs a clear view of the field. But if it is out there then it can easily get hit and most likely break.

I would worry more about the assembly. Hit the assembly with a 130 lb robot and the servo will be history.
The manner of protection is left as an exercise for the student... |
