Lightbulb Shallow Pot Magnets on Tetra

I know there was a thread about using electromagnetics, but no addressed the fact that there is a magnet on the tetras. If you look at the tetra assembly drawing, it shows a pot magnet on the top side of the tetra. Is FIRST inviting someone to at least try using an electromagnet? thoughts please

From what i can tell on the drawing, it is on the very top connection under the clover thing. Can't you turn electromagnets on and off?

Re: Shallow Pot Magnets on Tetra

The tetra assembly drawings I have seen show no magnets. The two "hanging" tetras have are specially modified, with a small stack of washers on one corner. So far as I can tell, the only magnets on the field are part of the corner goals.
