how many victors?

in order to get the drive train to work, do you need to put the two victors in paralell, because the victors are only approved for 40 amps but the cim motors require 44 amps?

Re: how many victors?

You only need one victor per motor.

The motors can run for a significant amount of time at current higher that what the breaker is rated for before it trips.

It's a good idea to make sure you aren't stalling your motors though, regardless.

Re: how many victors?

That would be illegal. The CIMs run quite nicely on a single 40 Amp breaker. The breakers can handle more than 40 Amps for a limited period of time.

I don't have the curves memorized, but I don't think you should be running at 44 Amps. Is that a measured value or an estimate?
